The tutoring center is an outreach program of Parkway Community Church. This was the original birthplace of the Leaven which has multiplied and is managed now outside of PCC. However, the heart of that original idea has stayed with us and our original site. We are called to impact our community through acts of mercy and love to children and their families for the sake of the gospel.

What we do and how you can get involved
Get to know more about this ministry
Adult and youth who have a heart for helping children with their homework are welcome to apply! No experience tutoring is needed! We background check and live scan fingerprint each volunteer and also ask that they are followers of Jesus as the main goal of this program is to reach children and their families with the gospel. Volunteer as many days as works for you. Center is open during the school year, Mondays-Thursdays from 3-5pm.
Our tutoring center building is located behind the church next to the playground and soccer field.
You may also volunteer to bring snacks, as we feed the kids a healthy snack every day.
