Dan Deckard was born and raised in the foothills of Northern California, the fruit of a great Christian family.  He did a tour of duty in the United States Marine Corps before sensing a call to ministry.  He completed his BA in theology at The Master's College, followed by a Master's of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.  Dan married Deanna Johnson in 1992 and has three adult children--Daniel, Allie (married to Jeremiah Farris) and Isaac.

Chris was raised in Fairfield and accepted Christ in Junior High.  He graduated with a B.A. in Theology in 1997 from Briercrest Bible College.  Chris then returned home and began as High School Pastor at Parkway in 1997 and also served as Worship and Outreach Pastor until 2006.  After 15 years of serving at other churches in Vacaville CA, he was called back to serve as Pastor of Worship and Discipleship in 2021.  Chris married Pauline (his college sweetheart ) in 1999 and they have three children.  He loves raising up the next generation of Christ followers and is passionate to see all people worship Jesus and live out the extraordinary Gospel in all the ordinary places of life.

Val grew up in Saskatchewan, Canada into a loving Christian family and accepted Christ as a child.  She graduated with a BA in Theology from Briercrest Bible College in Saskatchewan, Canada in 1997.  She married husband Chris in 1997 and has 2 grown sons who were born and raised at this church.  She joined the full time staff of Parkway in 2004 as the Children's Ministry Director.  She wrote "The God Puzzle" in 2013 as a guide to help parents teach their children about God.  In 2019, she became the church administrator and splits her time 50/50 between the two roles.  Her passion is that children and families be transformed by the gospel, and that the church functions to it's full potential to reach as many people for Christ.  

Sean grew up in Fairfield, California and became a Christian through High Life Ministries in 1998. He has a BA in Theology from Briercrest Bible College and an MA in TESOL from Biola University. Sean married his wife Nicole in 2002 and has three children.  He served as a missionary in East Asia for 15 years, and as a high school English teacher for two years in the US before becoming the Pastor of High School Ministries at Parkway in early 2023.

Paulina Polk grew up in Quito, Ecuador.  She was raised Catholic and realized she was a sinner and needed Jesus at age 18.  She graduated with a BS in Early Childhood Education from Pacific Union College and went on to get her teaching credential from Touro University.  She has been married to Jacob since 2001 and has 3 children who have been part of the ministry and this church their entire lives.  She started working at Parkway in 2007 as the Director of our Tutoring Center. She has always enjoyed working with children and using her gift of teaching and Spanish to reach the Hispanic community in our city.

Nicole grew up in Fairfield and became a Christian during high school. She attended Briercrest Bible college graduating with a BA in Intercultural Studies/TESOL. She married her husband Sean in 2002. In 2005 they left for East Asia where they served on the mission field for the next 15 years (while adding 3 kids to their family). In 2019 Nicole joined the Parkway staff part-time. Nicole also works for OMF and is passionate about prayer and safeguarding Christian ministries.

David was born in Reno, Nevada but has lived in the Bay Area since he was 10. He grew up in church and came to follow Jesus at age 7. David has volunteered in Jr High Quest since 2008, and in 2019 became the Director where he has the privilege to preach the gospel weekly to students.   His wife Doreen, whom he has been married to since 2005, manages the administrative duties for Quest. They have 3 children, Jesse, Isabella and Jonathan.
