What To Expect
What are the services like?
Our worship services last about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
We sing a meaningful mix of traditional and modern Christ-centered songs, encouraging heartfelt, Biblical expressions of worship that engage the whole person—heart, mind, and body.
Each week, you’ll hear Christ-centered, Bible-based teaching that connects God’s Word to everyday life.
We celebrate communion on the last Sunday of each month. If you believe and confess Jesus as Savior and Lord, you're warmly invited to take part in this.
Where do my children go?
Nursery and Preschool children may be signed into their classes upon arrival, but they are always welcome to remain in the service with their families. Elementary and Junior High students will be dismissed just before the sermon.
Children’s programs are available during the 9:00 am service for Nursery, Preschool, Elementary, and Junior High. On Communion Sunday (the first Sunday of each month), Junior High students remain in the service with their families.
During the 11:00 am service, classes are available for Nursery, Preschool, and Elementary children.
All children’s ministry volunteers are Live Scan fingerprinted.
For nursing mothers, we offer a private, comfortable room at the end of the children’s hallway with a TV livestream of the service so you won’t miss anything. A private diaper-changing room is located next to the nursery. If your child needs a diaper change, you will be paged.
What do people wear?
Parkway is a family community and we want you to wear whatever attire makes you feel comfortable. On a typical Sunday morning, you can expect to see everything from shorts and flip-flops to jeans, dresses, shirts and ties.
