What To Expect
What are the services like?
Our services are about 1 hour and 15 minutes long.
We sing a blend of traditional and modern, Christ-centered music and encourage Biblical expressions of worship in our services that help us engage heart, mind, and body.
We have Biblical teaching which is Christ-centered that connects to real life.
We celebrate communion once a month on the last Sunday of the month.
Anyone who believes and confesses Jesus as Savior and Lord is welcome to join us.
An offering will be taken as an act of worship for those who consider Parkway their church home. Guests are welcome, but not expected, to participate.
Where do my children go?
Nursery and preschool children can be signed into their classes upon arrival if desired but are always welcome in the service with their families. Elementary and Junior High will be dismissed from the service right before the sermon. Nursery, preschool, elementary and Jr High are offered in the 9am service. Preschool and combined elementary are offered in the 11am service. All volunteers are live scan fingerprinted. We also have a private, comfortable nursing mothers room at the end of the children's hallway with a tv livestream of the service so you don't have to miss anything. There is a private diaper changing room adjacent to the nursery where parents will be paged to come to in case of diaper needs.
What do people wear?
Parkway is a family community and we want you to wear whatever attire makes you feel comfortable.
On a typical Sunday morning, you can expect to see everything from shorts and flip-flops to jeans, dresses, shirts and ties.
