Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."
Matthew 19:14
The greatest need children have is to know and cherish the infinite value of God. Therefore, we want children to become so aquainted with the Word of God that they treasure Him alone as the One who saves and satisfies the heart. The goal of our curriculum is to fuel spiritual desire of children by exalting the greatness and worth of God and His glorious work through Christ.
Where do we want our children to be 10-20 years from now? Can churches grow mighty oaks of righteousness without intentionally nurturing the saplings under their care? The deep-rooted faith we desire for our children, a faith that weathers the storms of life and bears fruit for the glory of God, is nurtured by a systematic plan to partner with parents in communicating the greatness of God, the glory of Christ, and the power of the Gospel.

Sunday Mornings
We take very seriously the fact that children are taught Biblically by carefully selected teachers who love Jesus and His Word. We have age appropriate Biblical teaching from nursery to 5th grade, including a nursing moms/quiet room with a livestream so you don't miss the service.
Blast
This is our after school program which runs on the last Wednesday of the month from 4:00-6pm. We have a different theme each time so check the schedule. We usually have free play, a Biblical story, fun hands on activities that help kids connect to that week's truth about God and dinner!
STOMP Choir
STOMP stands for "Singing Together Our Maker's Praises" and has been singing since 2004. Led by Val Ackermann, Director of Children's Ministries and they practice for 10-15 minutes directly after BLAST so most kids do both. We perform in church at Easter time, and Christmas time.
VBS
This is the highlight of fun for the summer. Kids come for 4 nights in a row in June to have the best live Bible character teaching, crazy outdoor games, the best worship and dance times, creative crafts and missions fundraising. Don't miss it!
Summer Camp
Kids leaving grades 3-5 are invited to sign up for summer camp which is end of July or beginning of August each year. We have attended Hume Lake Christian Camps for the past 50 plus years. Elementary kids will have a blast at Wagon Train!
Mommy and Me
This is a playgroup for moms and little ones that meets at the church every Tuesday. This is a time for moms and little ones to socialize, fellowship and have lunch together. Bring your own lunch and hang out with other moms from 11:30-1:30pm. We would love to have you join us!
Cry Room
We have a private room with a couch and chairs where you can comfortably care for the needs of your baby while watching the service livestream. We occasionally leave baby items in there to share with each other.
Special Events
We love to have special events for the kids. Things we have done have been a Princess Tea, Trunk or Treat, Pool Parties, Jump House and Hot Dog Days, family movie nights in the sanctuary, and lots more! Kids and their friends are always invited!
Parenting Resources
Parenting books and aids, kids Bibles, books for kids on baptism and communion, Scripture memory, family discipleship recommendations, websites and more. We are here to support you as parents disciple your children.
