Our 1st Impressions team will be happy to help direct you once you arrive. Look for one of our team volunteers wearing a lanyard that says, "I Can Help" for assistance.
At Parkway Community Church, we believe it is important for kids to experience corporate worship with their family, and the rest of the church body, as often as possible. For this reason, we keep kids K-5th grade in the service until right before the teaching portion; they are then dismissed and escorted to their classrooms which are right next to the sanctuary.
Infant and preschool kids can go to their class for the entire service, if the parents desire.
Children's Ministry teaching (Preschool-5th grade) is provided every Sunday for the 9am and 11am services. Nursery is currently offered at the 9am service only. Parkway Community Church Kids leaders are people who are passionate about teaching and are all Livescan fingerprinted. Sunday school is traditional, with small classes and Christ centered gospel teaching, and age appropriate activities.
Middle School (6th-8th grade) has Sunday School during our 9AM service only.
There is a Cry Room available for mothers and babies. This room has a live stream from the worship center, so that moms and dads can stay engaged while tending to the needs of their kids .
Valerie Ackermann is our Director of Children's Ministries, and you can contact her here with any additional questions you may have.
