Young Adult Ministry (YAM) exists to equip young adults to become spiritually mature disciples of Jesus, who may then continue a lifestyle of multiplying more disciples (Matthew 28:18-20). This happens at YAM through belonging. Belonging means being part of a community where, on account of Jesus, believers do life together to stir one another on to love and good works (Hebrews 10:24). It also happens through believing. This is actively trusting in the God of the Bible and understanding the worldview from which it was written. For Young Adult Ministry, believing happens by the renewing of the mind that takes place through Bible study, discussion, and prayerful meditation (Romans 12:2). YAM is for those who have graduated high school and have yet to begin a family of their own (i.e., under 30-ish years old). We typically meet at Kendall’s house at 6:00 pm on Fridays. If interested, contact Kendall Carter for more information.

Meet Kendall Carter

Kendall was born in Edmond, Oklahoma. A year before joining the Air Force, God awakened his passion for King Jesus through hearing the message of the Gospel. This spurred Kendall’s desire to know and love God, and the Scriptures through which He is revealed. Similarly, God put it on his heart to pastor so that others may as well. This led to his pursuit of formal education. While in the Air Force, Kendall earned an Associate in Applied Science in Mechanical and Electrical Technology from the Community College of the Air Force. After his tour of duty, he received a Bachelor of Science in business with a minor in Bible and theology from William Jessup University. Currently, Kendall is in the process of completing a Master of Divinity from Western Seminary. In 2016 Kendall married his bride, Danielle. Then in 2018, they had their first child Emmitt Samuel.
